✦ TODAY'S FIVE

Today's Duel — a daily rare-answer game like Krillion

Five open prompts, one frozen set per UTC day. Name something correct — but make it unexpected. Everyone worldwide plays the same five, and the rarest correct answer takes the round. Then send the challenge link and see who thinks less like everybody else.

ONE SET, EVERY DAY

How today's daily duel works

Every UTC day gets one set of five prompts, chosen once and then frozen for the whole world. There is no per-player shuffling: the person next to you and a stranger eight timezones away face the identical five. That is what makes the challenge link worth sending — your friend answers the same prompts you did, not a lookalike set built for them.

The set resets at 00:00 UTC. Until then it stays exactly as it was, so you can close the tab mid-round and resume the session while it remains valid. The server timer continues while you are away.

Five prompts, 30 seconds each, up to 100 points per prompt and 500 in total. Answers are matched against a reviewed answer bank and scored by editorial rarity weights. An unrecognized answer scores zero for that round, though you can report an answer you believe fits. After a standard competitive game, you can create a shareable challenge link. Want another set today? Outlier Duel unlimited mode draws five distinct questions per session, though questions may recur in later sessions; the shared session quota applies. The full rules cover duels and timing.
